Woodturned mushroom emerging from log. Made from heavily spalted magnolia branch. Due to the spalting in the wood this piece has some imperfections. While spalting adds beautiful natural colors to the wood, it also causes the wood to soften which results in more chip out than normal during the process of turning it. This piece measures roughly 3.5 tall by 1.75 wide. The mushroom itself measures roughly 1.75 tall by 1.15 wide at the base of the cap.
